ADPF awarded Australian Industry Renewable Heat Accelerator grant

ADPF has been awarded a grant from the Australian Industry Renewable Heat Accelerator to deliver a clear, data-driven pathway for the Australian dairy processor’s transition from fossil fuel dependency toward decarbonised, resilient manufacturing.

ADPF was one of 12 projects funded through The Accelerator, which supports manufacturers and industry associations to progress practical, low-carbon alternatives to gas-fired process heat.

The Australian Dairy Industry Decarbonisation Pathway Project will undertake an industry-first, holistic assessment of current fossil fuel assets, emerging technology options, decarbonisation barriers and opportunities, and sectoral policy needs.

“The Australian dairy industry is entering a pivotal period as global and domestic pressures accelerate the drive toward low-emissions production and long-term sustainability,” ADPF Chief Executive Officer Janine Waller said.

“Through an evidence-based, consultative process, this study will enable ADPF and our members to identify actionable solutions, align with regulatory trends, and strengthen advocacy for supportive investment and policy frameworks.”

The Australian Industry Renewable Heat Accelerator is a philanthropy backed initiative delivered with support from Australia Alliance for Energy Productivity.

It works with industry to expand renewable heat capability and demonstrate the scalable solutions required to maintain a strong, competitive manufacturing sector.
