We’re a little late sharing this one, but our Executive Chair, John Williams, was on stage at last week’s Australian Dairy Conference, contributing to an important conversation about leadership in Australian dairy.

John joined Dr Matt Shaffer (Dairy Australia) and Ben Bennett (Australian Dairy Farmers) in a standout session moderated by Peta Credlin.

The discussion focused on the people behind the positions – how they lead, what shapes their decisions and the impact they want to make.

A clear theme emerged: the future of dairy will be shaped by the standards we set and the collaboration we foster across the supply chain.

It’s exactly why ADPF continues to advocate for stronger industry unity. It’s also why unity and leadership sit at the heart of our new strategic plan.

When the dairy industry is strong, Australia is stronger.

If we stay focused on lifting productivity, strengthening alignment and backing long-term leadership, the opportunity ahead is significant.

ADC 2026 reinforced this for us: strong industries are built on clarity, collaboration and disciplined action.
