Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC) submission to the Senate Standing Committees on Environment and Communications Inquiry into Greenwashing

The Australian dairy industry has strong claims to be the Australian leader when it comes to sustainability in agriculture, and we remain focused on continuous improvement in both dairy farm and processor practice. The Australian Dairy Sustainability Framework (ADSF) – launched in 2012 – has publicly reported on the industry’s sustainability improvements under four sustainability commitments, each with goals and measurable indicators.

In the industry’s submission to the Australian Senate’s Inquiry into Greenwashing, we highlight the significant investment by all participants across the dairy value chain into the ADSF and look forward to working with the Committee on this Inquiry.
