Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC) Response to the ACCC Draft Guidance for Business on Environmental and Sustainability Claims

The ADIC welcomed the opportunity to provide comment on ACCC’s Draft Guidance for Business on Environmental and Sustainability Claims (Draft Guidance), to help businesses provide clear, accurate and trustworthy information to consumers about the environmental performance of their business.

The ADIC supports the Draft Guidance, including the ‘Eight principles for trustworthy environmental and sustainability claims’. These align with the Australian Dairy Sustainability Framework, which aims to provide the level of credibility and integrity needed to meet our customer, community and investor expectations on dairy and sustainability.
